Group 6 逆转录RNA病毒（HIV）
1.enter the cell by direct fusion and endocytosis;
2.Transcribe double stranded DNA from the diploid RNA genome;
3.An integration complex is transported to the nucleus and functions to integrate the viral DNA into the host genome;
4.The integrated viral DNA is transcribed by host RNA polymerase II to produce full length viral RNAs;
5.These RNAs are differentially spliced to produce viral genomic and mRNAs and are exported to the cytoplasm;
6.Viral proteins are translated and assemble to form virions.
逆转录过程在病毒核衣壳内进行，病毒进入细胞后，在病毒逆转录酶的作用下，以作为病毒遗传物质的正链RNA为模板，合成互补的负链DNA，形成RNA-DNA杂化双链。杂化双链中的RNA被逆转录酶中的RNA酶水解，之后在逆转录酶的DNA聚合酶活性下，由负链DNA复制成双链DNA。双链DNA随后环化，在病毒核衣壳的保护下在细胞质中稳定存在。
Group 7 逆转录DNA病毒（乙肝病毒）
1.Enter the cell and uncoat;
2.Viral DNA is released into nucleus;
3.Viral DNA is converted to closed circular DNA in the nucleus. The DNA is not integrated into host DNA;
4.Viral genomic RNA and mRNA are transcribed from viral DNA;
5.The viral mRNAs are exported from the nucleus, translated and core proteins, reverse transcriptase assemble with the viral genomic RNA to produce core particles;
6.The core particles carry Reverse transcriptase to produce Viral DNA;
7.Release from the cell.
